Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design, implement, and evaluate the Hunger-Free campus initiative, including the free food program, to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with community food programs to increase food opportunities for students, and coordinate with Student Government to support their food pantry.
  • Program Management: Reconcile program financial budgets, track expenditures, and monitor spending to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Student Support: Create work study positions and supervise students to help with implementation on all three campuses, and facilitate enrollment and support for program participants.
  • Communication: Draft and edit correspondence and printed materials related to programs' policies, procedures, and operations, and maintain regular communication with program participants to provide support and recognize their achievements.
  • Library Operations: Oversee the operations of a free book lending library and laptop lending programs, including maintaining up-to-date book lending library, tracking students with borrow/return processes, and analyzing current book lending processes to improve services to students.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with education and/or experience in serving unrepresented populations.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite, experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, and ability to manage and supervise.
  • Abilities: Demonstrated experience with facilitating meetings, leadership, initiative, energy, and sound judgment, with excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
