Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled NPI Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As a key member of our manufacturing business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful launch of new products and projects for our customers and their suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between our customers and their suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and operations, to implement and distribute new products.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to define, develop, and launch new or improved products, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to production processes and methods to reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Develop and implement operational NPI plans, set key performance indicators (KPIs), and track project progress to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  • Provide analytical leadership and technical expertise to support product analytics and manufacturing planning.
  • Assist in directing and controlling processes to ensure compliance with defined policies and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks and bottlenecks, and provide solutions to drive project success.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Proven experience in NPI, product launch, and manufacturing operations, with a strong understanding of lean and continuous improvement principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with quality operations, including PPAP and APQP.
