About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at Aequor Technologies. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients, ensuring the highest image quality and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients as per physician orders.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns.
  • Monitor and assess patients during MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of procedures, including patient data and imaging results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images.
  • Perform routine maintenance on MRI equipment and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and practices.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of MRI imaging procedures and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Proficiency with computers and radiology information systems (RIS) for accurate data entry and image management.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and positioning patients.
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a specialization in MRI (ARRT-MR).
  • Active [STATE] Radiology Technologist License in good standing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech or in a similar role.
