Job Title: Financial Manager

Overview

The Financial Manager position plays a critical role in performing complex financial analysis and developing plans that include budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing complex financial analysis and developing plans that include budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program.
  • Serving as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues, concerns, and special projects.
  • Participating in researching, establishing, and defining program plan requirements; preparing detailed narrative to justify budget estimate and monitoring execution.
  • Coordinating interdepartmental development of program plans and interfaces with vendors and customers as required.
  • Monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
  • Reporting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operating data.
  • Conducting program plan studies.
  • Supervising junior financial analysts and providing team leadership by defining program plan requirements.
  • Participating in establishing and defining program plan requirements.
  • Coordinating, negotiating, and resolving financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.
  • Interfacing with top management responding to requests for financial data.
  • Briefing program/project budget estimates/projections, shortfalls, over-runs, funding types, etc.
Qualifications
  • Available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.
  • Able to perform all duties to ensure timely, courteous, and quality support to INSCOM or other customers/affiliates.
