Are you a driven and ambitious individual looking to kickstart your sales career in the rapidly growing cyber security industry? Varonis Systems is a software leader that's poised for significant growth, and we're seeking a talented Sales Development Representative to join our team.

In this role, you'll be the critical first point of contact for Varonis, working with prospective customers to identify sales opportunities and collaborating with our Sales Representatives to drive future revenues. To position you for success, we invest in your knowledge through a comprehensive training program, equipping you with the skills and expertise needed to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of Varonis' sales process and core products to effectively sell to prospective customers.
  • Identify decision-makers among targeted leads and initiate the sales process.
  • Present and pitch Varonis' products and services to potential customers through high-volume phone calls and email campaigns.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals from various sources, including field activity, marketing efforts, and channel partners.
  • Partner with Account Managers to determine strategic sales approaches and monitor crucial sales activities.
  • Maintain accurate account information and activity details in our CRM system.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding phone skills and ability to handle a high volume of calls per day.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and gain commitment at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
  • Personal drive and internal motivation towards high achievement.
  • Sense of humor.
