The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer/Project Manager to join our Miami, FL location. As a key member of our Restoration Division, you will be responsible for designing repairs, renovations, and alterations of existing structures, as well as overseeing their execution in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing structural analysis and repair rehabilitation design of concrete, steel, timber, masonry, and other structural systems.
  • Coordinating design work with in-house staff and other consultants, including architects and other engineering disciplines.
  • Communicating with clients to understand project requirements.
  • Safely and effectively performing site visits to support field assessment activities.
  • Producing structural drawings, calculations, and reports as required for the design of concrete, masonry, and steel/aluminum structures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a four-year college or university.
  • Masters' degree preferred.
  • Experience working with existing building construction practices and renovation work.
  • Experience in the design of miscellaneous metal structures, concrete, and masonry.
  • Experience with structural analysis software, such as CSI products (SAP2000, ETABS), Risa3D, Enercalc, RAM Steel, Mathcad, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with BIM/drafting software, such as Revit and AutoCAD, preferred.
  • Professional Engineer or Registered Architect license preferred.
