Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Engineering Manager II to lead our construction engineering department and ensure project delivery meets or exceeds technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and execute the construction engineering program, including the exchange of engineering information among the client, design engineer, and project.
  • Supervise project construction engineers and coordinate their activities with the construction engineering department and other project departments.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and design engineering to ensure the timely flow of design documents and information.
  • Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems, and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action.
Requirements
  • US citizenship required.
  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and sixteen (16) years of work-related experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Construction Management degree or global equivalent.
  • Ability to speak/read multiple languages.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the advanced use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations.
