Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Analyst to support our management team in maintaining, improving, processing, and evaluating the billing and collection of accounts receivables (AR) and/or resolving complex payer issues. This role will provide staff training, perform analytic assessments, generate reports, and provide operational support on all aspects of the revenue cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate assigned projects to ensure stated goals and objectives are accomplished.
  • Research and compile revenue cycle-related information for special projects.
  • Assist with the development of billing office policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Analyze AR reports to identify problems on accounts and create/monitor projects based on findings with appropriate teams, including researching the accounts/trends and taking appropriate actions to promote reimbursement.
  • Facilitate revenue cycle operations trainings for trainees, including software and tools used in the revenue cycle process.
  • Measure and evaluate progress and effectiveness of trainings provided to trainees, including drafting trainee performance reports for management.
  • Advise management on matters impacting the revenue cycle operations, including providing enhancement and remedial recommendations.
  • Conduct audits as assigned by the Revenue Cycle Manager.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert regarding the revenue cycle process for Billing Supervisors/Managers, Site Managers, Directors, CFO, and other staff.
  • Provide vendor oversight for timeliness and reimbursement reconciliation.
  • Coordinate meetings with management to review any trends or discrepancies with revenue cycle process.
  • Emphasize, demonstrate, promote, and adhere to excellent customer service skills, including professionalism, confidentiality, and proper etiquette.
  • Impact patient experience by demonstrating courteous and helpful behavior and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Operate to instill confidence in our care and in our facilities to patients, fellow employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain an action plan to improve the front office training program.
  • Develop strong relationships with Learning & Development and Operations and Billing Departments to improve workflows and receive feedback.
  • Work with Front Office Supervisors and Managers to ensure monthly ongoing front office trainings are implemented.
  • Monitor the operation of systems to ensure effective delivery of front office and billing operations.
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding policies, procedures, various funding sources, and others related front office items.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and company information.
  • Function at the highest level according to credentials and competencies.
  • Contribute to the success of the organization by participating in quality improvement activities.
  • Cooperate in accomplishing department goals and objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years' medical or FQHC billing experience required.
  • Two years' project management experience preferred.
  • Certification from National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior composition, typing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Knowledgeable about and experience with project management, principles, and practices of organization, planning, records management, and general administration.
  • Ability to analyze, assess, and make problem-solving decisions.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent planning and organizational ability.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to work with highly confidential information in a professional and ethical manner.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift/carry 10 lbs/weight.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Salary Range

$70,200-$91,520 depending on experience.
