Fulton Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team. As a key member of our mortgage lending team, you will be responsible for originating and closing residential mortgage loans.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Expand Referral Sources: Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and developers to generate new business opportunities.
- Assess and Evaluate Loan Applications: Collect and analyze financial information from applicants to determine their creditworthiness and recommend suitable loan products.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Engage with customers to understand their financial needs and provide personalized solutions to meet their goals.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and product offerings to provide expert advice to customers.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1+ years of recent residential mortgage lending experience, including experience in the local market.
- Skills: Proven ability to develop referral sources, excellent communication and customer service skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
