About the Role:

Effective School Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to provide clinical services to students with significant behavioral and emotional needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, and will be able to deliver clinical interventions in a safe and ethical manner.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Deliver clinical interventions consistent with the needs of the student and family.
Demonstrate competency in Group Therapy, Individual Counseling, and Family Counseling.
Provide family programming with monthly evening Parent Support groups, as needed.
Understand the continuum of mental health services and refer students and family to an appropriate level of care in coordination with their supervisor.
Optimize the collaboration and coordination of the interdisciplinary team to enhance the environment of student care.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Submit Clinical Documentation in a timely manner, aligned with the electronic medical record.
Participate in all team meetings, including Administrative School Meetings, ESS Town Hall meetings, ESS Supervision Meetings, and Treatment Team meetings.
Maintain current professional license and adhere to ethical standards in accordance with governing board.
Consistently attend work on scheduled day and time, in professional attire and with a professional demeanor.

Qualifications and Skills:

2+ years of experience treating children and/or adolescents with significant behavioral and emotional challenges.
Active associate number (ASW, AMFT, or APCC).
Clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
Effective problem solving and communication skills.
Experience working with students and families, plus community health and social service agencies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using a computer.
Ability to complete thorough clinical documentation.
