Job Summary
As a Nurse Care Specialist with Humana, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. This position requires a compassionate and skilled nurse to assess and record patient conditions, administer oxygen supply and equipment, and educate patients and their families on assisted living techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assess and record patient condition by monitoring vital signs and administering oxygen supply and equipment
- Help patients care for themselves and their families by introducing and teaching assisted living techniques
- Coordinate with physicians, hospitals, and health plans to ensure seamless care
- Participate in a patient-focused model that creates one integrated point of accountability
Requirements
- Valid in-state driver's license and a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
- Current registration and insurance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
