Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure patient-centered care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification strongly preferred within 6 months of hire.
- Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) certification strongly preferred within 2 years of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Courses (TNCC) certification required within 1 year of hire.
- ER experience preferred.
- Per Diem status positions, 2+ years Emergency department experience is strongly preferred.
