We're seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, high-energy professional to join our Professional Services leadership team as a Project Management Team Lead for ERP Implementations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving and enabling a team of Project Managers to ensure successful ERP implementations. Your oversight and accountability will be crucial to the success of projects within your program, and you will be responsible for the execution and tracking of our progress through each statement of work.

Through your coaching, mentoring, and problem-solving, you will ensure your team has the tools and resources needed to navigate the project lifecycle for each engagement and serve as the escalation point of contact for customer stakeholders. You will be responsible for the development of our Project Managers and their accurate utilization of project management tools and internal tracking software. As our team grows, you will be the point person to coordinate onboarding and training efforts as well as the creation and roll out of our PMO best practices.

You will work closely with our Implementation, Technical, and Custom Development Team Leads to staff projects and enhance and enforce process. You will identify training and development needs of our team to ensure our customers are getting a high-quality experience and service level.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the Professional Services' Project Managers providing management and oversight of platform implementations and ongoing functional consulting.
  2. Leading, motivating, and guiding the Project Managers to achieve the desired outcomes.
  3. Maintain reporting on utilization, revenue, team capacity, volume of project work, and outlook to advise strategic direction of department.
  4. Responsible for annual budget calculations, forecasting, and actual revenue and utilization reporting.
  5. Responsible for team management, including hiring, training, performance management, and career engagement.
  6. Analyze projects and recommend opportunities to increase revenue, reduce costs, improve processes.
  7. Develop an onboarding program that provides training required for new hires and existing employee growth.
  8. Strategize, create, and roll out Project Management best practices in project lifecycle tracking, customer communication, risk mitigation, and internal reporting.
  9. Offer successful services offerings to optimize customer satisfaction and retention to new and existing customers.
  10. Own the project records, project tracking tools, and financial tracking both inside and out of Financial Force.
  11. Be hands-on with our largest projects, sometimes taking on Project Manager responsibilities where needed.
  12. Work with customer stakeholders as the escalation point and representative of the ECI Professional Services team within the PMO, ensuring that customer satisfaction is met and exceeded.
  13. Escalation of potential risks to project success and help to work through potential solutions.
  14. Partner with the Sales team to educate on the services available and coach through positioning and selling of services.
  15. Collaborate with Sales and Sales Operations as needed to assist with project estimates and customer inquiries.
  16. Help with customer disputes and Account Receivables (outstanding collections).

Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Education & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience with implementing software technology.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated management and leadership experience, preferably in a professional service environment.
  3. Strong operational management, project management, and communication/presentation skills required.
  4. Strong teamwork and leadership skills to lead collaboration across functions throughout the organization.
  5. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workflow to meet deadlines. Ability to adapt to change and proactively take charge of tasks and priorities is required.
  6. Experience with all phases of a client software implementation lifecycle, including initial needs analysis, project administration, software installation, onsite training, systems troubleshooting, and ongoing account management.
  7. Experience working through challenging projects and solving problems leading to successful go lives.
  8. Leadership skills, especially those in challenging times, and the proven ability to create and manage a team.
  9. Work experience in ERP software implementation, people management, and the use of software as a tool for business management.
  10. A history of successful customer communication and coordination.
  11. A vision for where the Project Management Team needs to go, and strategies on how to get there.
  12. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  13. Experience with Financial Force or another PSA software preferred.
  14. Willing, able, and eligible to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time.
