Job Title: Long-term Care Surveyor

Job Summary:

As a Long-term Care Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state health and safety regulations. You will work closely with healthcare providers to identify and address deficiencies, and provide guidance on corrective actions. Your expertise will help protect the health and safety of individuals receiving Medicaid services in long-term care facilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site inspections and investigations to assess compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Identify and document deficiencies, and provide guidance on corrective actions
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including providers, families, and community members
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and best practices

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration, public health, or social work
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare regulation, compliance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
