Job Summary

The Patient Care Assistant is a vital member of our team at Advir Health Care Systems, responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our clients. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients, while also providing temporary relief for their primary caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care and Hygiene: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including meal preparation, eating, bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Housekeeping and Errands: Perform routine housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, changing bed linens, dusting, washing dishes, light vacuuming, and other light household duties. Run errands as necessary, as directed by the supervisor.
  • Companionship and Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, while also serving as a liaison between the client and our agency.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, vital signs taken (when required), and progress made. Communicate verbally with the client's family and our agency staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Patient Care Assistant.
  • Certifications: Current TB, CPR, and First Aid certification. Pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
  • Qualifications: Possess patience and tact in working with sick, elderly, or disabled clients. Work under close supervision of agency staff and cooperate with staff from other agencies involved and the client's family.
