Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation during work hours.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks while collaborating as part of a team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with proficient organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to adapt to the evolving needs of program participants.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills characterized by patience, empathy, and a caring demeanor.
  • A cheerful and engaging personality that fosters respectful and collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and in crisis situations.
  • Familiarity with local community resources.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Personal experience with mental health challenges, substance use, or trauma.
  • Previous involvement in advocacy or peer support roles.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED); certification as a Recovery Coach is preferred.
