Job Title: Protection and Controls Engineer

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Protection and Controls Engineer to join our Energy Business Line's Engineering Center of Excellence in Grid Modernization programs, projects, and pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical engineering solutions for protection and controls systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
  • 6 years of relevant protection and controls experience
  • Professional Engineering licensure preferred
  • Knowledge of FERC and NERC requirements
  • Experience with IEC61850 and power system analysis software
