Data Platform Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Platform Automation Specialist at Omni Inclusive, you will be responsible for designing and implementing modern data platforms using automation tools and techniques. With a strong background in data platforms like Databricks and AWS Lakehouse, you will work on automating associated platform tasks, such as patching, integrating with monitoring, cluster maintenance, capacity, and automated troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience working on data platforms like Databricks or AWS Lakehouse
  • Extensive experience with data pipelines and automation tools
  • 2+ years of experience with crossplane or similar technology
  • Extensive experience with automating platform tasks and data pipeline management
  • 6+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, and shell
  • 8+ years of experience with Windows, Unix, databases, and cloud services
  • 4+ years of experience with containers and at least one Kubernetes platform
  • 2+ years of experience with automation in security-hardened environments
  • 4+ years of experience working in agile environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, including GitLab
  • Experience with data ingestion, transformation, data enrichment, data processing, and analytics
