We are seeking a Facilities Support Specialist to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and cleaning tasks throughout the community grounds as directed.
  • Execute routine maintenance duties to address all service requests related to the upkeep of grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment, and vehicles efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Maintenance tasks may encompass: repairing wall and floor coverings; fixing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing tasks; executing minor electrical repairs; servicing appliances; engaging in painting and refurbishment projects; and managing heating, air conditioning, refrigeration systems, and preparing rooms as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of maintenance experience.
  • Willingness to be on call as necessary.
  • General knowledge of systems including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and compliance with regulations.
  • Understanding of OSHA standards, fire safety, and life safety regulations.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations outside of regular working hours.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient organizational and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrated judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
