Aon is seeking a skilled Retirement Actuarial Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of retirement planning for our clients.

About the Role

As a Retirement Actuarial Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing contribution requirements and accounting costs with some oversight
  • Updating valuation runs for any changes and program provisions from scratch
  • Interpreting valuation results and providing initial recommendations to the lead actuary
  • Performing more complicated or reviewing simpler pension benefit calculations
  • Mentoring and training entry-level students
  • Demonstrating flexibility to work additional hours on occasion when client needs dictate
  • Drafting original materials (e.g., letters, reports, discussion guides) with some guidance

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics)
  • Preferred Actuary Experience but not required
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Pass actuarial exams (minimal requirement of one course per year)
