The University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) Institute for Society and Genetics invites applications for non-tenure-track lecturer positions in Academic Year 2024-2025 to teach lower and upper division undergraduate courses in our undergraduate majors Human Biology and Society (HBS) B.A. and B.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach lower and upper division undergraduate courses in human biology and society, including framings that focus on physiology and health, evolutionary biology, medicine and culture, anthropology, sociology and/or history.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the development of the department's research and teaching programs.
- Engage in service to the department, college, and university.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Experience teaching diverse students in a major research university.
- Interdisciplinary research or teaching experience is preferred.

- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
