About the Role

CESO is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Project Engineer, you will be responsible for performing design and preparation of engineering construction documentation, specifications, and details for multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Under the direction of senior team members, perform basic site design work on site plans and construction drawings to include site layout, grading, stormwater, roadway, and utility layouts using Civil 3D.
  • Research and Analysis: Research of design criteria based on project scope and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Site Design Calculations: Perform site design calculations and analysis based on researched codes and regulations to apply it to assigned tasks.
  • Documentation: Provide thorough and accurate documentation of calculations.
  • Civil Engineering Studies: Compare design options and document findings to produce detailed civil engineering studies and reports.
  • Review and Revision: Review technical and civil engineering drawing markups and make revisions accordingly.
  • Project Management: Perform practical application of civil engineering technology by applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various projects.
  • Methodology and Standards: Ensure effective civil engineering methodology is adhered to according to industry standards.
  • Workload Management: Manage workload assignments for departmental co-ops.
  • Client Meetings: Attend internal and external client meetings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Experience: 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Skills: Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, HydroCAD, Microsoft Office Suite.
