  • Perform electrical tasks in accordance with established standards
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures diligently
  • Install, repair, and replace locomotive components
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Formal training in mechanical maintenance or relevant experience
  • Capability to work at heights and handle heavy materials
  • Availability for overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
  • Preferred training in diesel locomotive mechanics
  • Experience with schematic reading and troubleshooting is advantageous
  • Prior experience in outdoor and industrial settings is preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency is beneficial
