- Participate in in-service education programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Assist with orienting new staff members to the facility and its policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Successful completion of a nursing arts course in an accredited nurse training program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
The Certified Nursing Assistant will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing care to residents with varying levels of physical and cognitive abilities. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and colleagues, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in challenging situations.
