Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and motivated Senior Electrician to enhance our team. This position requires a seasoned professional with a robust background in electrical engineering and a strong inclination towards problem-solving. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing electrical systems in a dynamic industrial setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical skills while engaging in complex projects within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control networks, instrumentation, PLC devices, HMI, VFD, servo, and control systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, distribution systems, motor control centers, and motors.
  • Work with electrical components including Frequency Drives (VFDs), contactors, overload devices, fixtures, switches, receptacles, and wiring.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize electrical systems and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and rectify electrical challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations in all electrical work.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Participate in the design and installation of new electrical systems.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial electrical engineering capacity.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues with control networks, instrumentation, PLC devices, HMI, VFD, servo, and control systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, distribution systems, motor control centers, and motors.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical components including Frequency Drives (VFDs), contactors, overload devices, fixtures, switches, receptacles, and wiring.
  • Strong skills in Electrical Troubleshooting and Electrical Controls.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Physical capability to work in an industrial environment and lift up to 50lbs.
