As a key member of our residential treatment center, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for adults with substance use disorders and other mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough client intakes to ensure accurate assessment and treatment planning
  • Maintain healthy boundaries and provide empathetic support to clients
  • Round and document client location, activity, and mood to ensure seamless care
  • Facilitate recreational and non-clinical groups to promote healing and engagement
  • Transport clients off-site in a 15-passenger van, ensuring safe and timely transportation
  • Supervise and participate in off-site recreational activities, promoting a sense of community and connection
  • Manage medication and maintain accurate records
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including replacing living staples, trash, and laundered linens
  • Write detailed documentation to ensure accurate client records
  • Utilize online-based client medical records systems to streamline care
  • Complete verbal hand-offs from shift to shift, ensuring seamless communication
  • Manage emergency situations, de-escalate clients, and escalate situations to clinical and medical providers as necessary
  • Conduct room searches, bag searches, and safety inspections to maintain a secure environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • Active and valid driver's license without DUIs or serious moving violations within the last 3 years
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check through the Department of Human Services (Violent/Sexual/Predatory charges and/or convictions will result in denial of background check)
  • Preferred: Minimum 1 year working in a treatment setting
