We're seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team and support the planning and execution of high-density residential and mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain project schedules and coordinate subcontractor requests for information (RFIs) and project submittals.
  • Ensure timely supply of information and materials, including schedule updates, pricing, safety plans, and minutes of tailgate meetings.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing project meeting agendas, minutes, logs, and monthly reports.
  • Collaborate with superintendents in the field to ensure quality control, verify dimensional layout, and assist with safety.
  • Track availability and shipment status of critical equipment and materials, and review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for proper coordination and installation.
Essential Functions
  • Preconstruction Services: Assist in logging, controlling, and distributing contract drawings, and support the initial set-up of the job management system.
  • Project Start-up, Construction, and Close-out: Assist in developing and implementing the site utilization plan, and help organize and schedule pre-work subcontractor orientation meetings.
  • Coordinate and distribute submittal and RFI logs, and process all submittal data and shop drawings to ensure project schedules are expedited and materials are delivered on time.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project engineer experience or other construction-related trade experience.
  • Proficiency in using project management and scheduling software, with experience in Procore and Textura a plus.
