Cardiovascular Lab Manager

The Cardiovascular Lab Manager is responsible for performing routine and specialized procedures on patients as prescribed by a physician and directed by department protocol.
Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services, this leader coordinates patient care activities of the department and serves as unit liaison to director, medical staff, and other areas.
This role delegates responsibilities, facilitates and ensures communication among team members, and employs a mastery function to advise and teach other Associates and evaluate care delivered.
The Cardiovascular Lab Manager collaborates with the director to facilitate operational changes to meet the needs of our customers and works collaboratively with the cardiovascular team to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives.
This role also reviews and manages departmental supplies and capital/operational budgets in collaboration with the executive director.
Requirements- Preferred Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of cardiovascular and intervention experience is required, preferably in a supervisory role
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Must be flexible and able to handle changing demands including the ability to use problem-solving skills, organize and prioritize work
- Must be accurate in details and willing to learn
- Cognitive perception necessary to perceive and maintain detail
