Core Duties

- Project Management and Technical Review: Oversee project execution, ensuring thorough technical report evaluations and the creation of persuasive proposals. Engage in departmental management and financial oversight, including profit and loss responsibilities. Conduct comprehensive final technical assessments for reports within your specialization, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Marketing and Business Growth: Spearhead marketing strategies, enhance business development efforts, and support colleagues in promoting our services. Strengthen client relationships through consistent engagement and management.
- Communication and Mentorship: Collaborate effectively with senior personnel, sharing insights and mentoring junior staff to aid their professional development in proposal drafting and report composition. Uphold company values and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Ongoing Professional Development: Remain updated on industry advancements and safety protocols by participating in relevant training programs.
Essential Experience
- Minimum of 12 years in geotechnical or construction materials testing engineering.
- Experience as a senior reviewer in a previous role.
- Established connections within the local market.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering standards and principles applicable to various project types, including commercial, residential, and civil infrastructure.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with robust project and risk management capabilities.
- Familiarity with current geotechnical software for feasibility studies, project management, and foundation analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on business development.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on geotechnical engineering from an accredited institution.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory; candidates must show the ability to obtain a local license through reciprocity within three months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus from an accredited institution.
