We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our team at the State of California. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care and quality services for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct performance improvement tasks, including report writing and analysis, to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
- Participate in risk management activities, such as validating data and consulting with unit staff, to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide documentation training and support to staff to ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct data analysis and provide recommendations to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
- Current certification as a Psychiatric Technician in the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a psychiatric setting, with a focus on performance improvement and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and data entry software.
- Experience with WaRMSS software.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in psychiatric settings.
