We are seeking a full-time Senior Environmental Project Leader to join our dynamic team at Spirit Environmental. Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field, along with at least 4 years in project leadership roles. Experience in team management is highly desirable for this position.

Position Overview:
As Spirit continues to expand, we are looking to enhance our environmental services team in the Gulf Coast Region. This role will involve providing expert environmental consulting services to our established clientele in the energy sector, as well as to various other industries we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
Applicants should have familiarity with the following areas:
- Clean Air Act and related regulations;
- State-specific air quality regulations, particularly in Louisiana;
- Emission calculations and methodologies for state and federal air permitting;
- Development of emission inventories across various states;
- Air quality permitting processes, including both minor and major source permits;
- Mentoring and training of internal project team members;
- Additional experience with state-level air quality regulations in the Gulf Coast Region (Texas, Mississippi, Alabama) is a plus.

Candidates will be responsible for managing project tasks, scoping and budgeting proposals, and maintaining effective communication with both internal and external clients to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.

- Effective time management and critical thinking;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Fundamental math and science knowledge (e.g., unit conversions, data evaluation);
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and time/expense tracking tools;
- Advanced understanding of relevant regulations pertaining to projects and client operations;
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in engineering or a related scientific discipline;
- At least 10 years of experience in environmental consulting and 4 years in project management;
- Understanding of engineering principles related to chemical processes and emissions control technologies;
- Willingness to engage in fieldwork, which may include physical activities such as climbing and navigating uneven surfaces;
- Travel may be required, but is expected to be minimal.
