Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Educator to join our team at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs to enhance the clinical, educational, and leadership skills of nursing and allied health personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities at the unit level.
  • Develop and maintain clinical, educational, and leadership skills of nursing and allied health personnel.
  • Act as a resource to the healthcare team on new policies, procedures, equipment, and healthcare information.
  • Facilitate unit-level orientation and education, and track unit-based clinical competencies of nursing staff.
  • Provide leadership through committee work, community involvement, and participation in research.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum three years of recent work experience as a registered nurse required.
  • Previous experience in clinical area preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required.
  • Demonstrated skill in education methods and adult learning principles preferred.
  • Current RN licensure in state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
