The Senior Logistics Performance Analyst is responsible for generating and analyzing key performance indicator (KPI) reports that support the operational aspects of transportation and supply chain management. This role requires collaboration across various departments and with external partners to address operational challenges and identify solutions for trend discrepancies.

  • Collaborating with business partners to develop, enhance, and implement clear KPI reporting and dashboards focused on supply chain operations, particularly in parcel transportation.
  • Conducting root cause analysis on unexpected variances and providing actionable recommendations to management.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity while proposing improvements for enhanced reliability.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with cross-functional teams, especially in data analytics and finance.
  • Establishing and maintaining connections with external freight auditing and benchmarking sources.
  • Performing detailed analyses as required by the business, such as network optimization, shipping revenue modeling, and labor analysis.
  • Executing monthly accrual and reconciliation processes in compliance with SOX regulations alongside internal financial partners.
  • Overseeing and refining the claims process for both Direct to Consumer (DTC) and Retail shipments.
  • Identifying and forecasting trends to develop accurate budget models and revisions.
  • Managing and mentoring the associate analyst.
  • Handling operational processes as necessary.

Required Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Accounting, Operations Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Candidates should possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, transportation, finance, or analytics. Experience within JD Finish Line is highly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel is essential. Familiarity with SQL queries and Microsoft Power BI is advantageous.
