The Senior Accounting Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of Langham Logistics. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, maintaining compliance with established processes, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transaction Processing: Monitor accounts receivable, process day-to-day transactions, and ensure all payments for invoices and approved purchase orders occur on time and accurately.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance to established processes and procedures, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and import general ledger entries, and assist with month-end/year-end closing and reporting.
- Customer Service and Support: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to develop new and improved processes for AP/AR tasks and activities.
- Education: Associate's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
