We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and skills, attending training sessions and conferences as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of six months of experience as a Clinical Nurse I, or equivalent experience in a comparable setting.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support Certification, with other advanced life support certifications as required by the facility or unit/department.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- One year of full-time experience as a Psych Nurse, with a focus on adult patient care.
- Specialized certifications, such as CCRN or CEN, may be preferred for certain positions.
