Job Summary

Summary: As a Food Service Worker with Morrison Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to patients and staff. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality will ensure that every meal is prepared and served with care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present food according to established recipes and production standards.
  • Weigh and measure ingredients accurately to ensure proper quality and serving temperatures.
  • Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator while maintaining safety standards.
  • Store food in designated areas following proper wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
  • Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
  • Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
  • Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
  • Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
