Role Overview

The Medical Care Specialist will be a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, providing exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital. This role involves performing daily care responsibilities, including bed baths, showers, oral hygiene, and other general care as needed.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with specialized skills to join our team at Community Rehabilitation Hospital South. Our hospital is proud to be recognized by Newsweek as one of America's Best Rehabilitation Hospitals in 2023. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will work closely with patients to provide morning and evening care, preparing them for meals, serving and removing food trays, and distributing drinking water and nourishments.

Requirements

  • Minimum six months experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred.
  • CPR/BCLS Certification highly preferred.
  • CNA certification highly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
