Job Summary

At Allan Myers, we are seeking a skilled Lowbed Driver to join our team. As a Lowbed Driver, you will be responsible for transporting large construction equipment and materials to customers or job site locations. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a lowbed trailer to transport heavy equipment and materials to job sites
  • Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections on assigned vehicle to ensure maximum safety conditions
  • Communicate with customers and colleagues to coordinate transportation and delivery schedules
  • Comply with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair
  • Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned


Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a lowbed endorsement
  • Previous experience driving a lowbed trailer and operating heavy equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
