Key Responsibilities
The Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing program acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategy Reports, Procurement Initiation Documentation, Statements of Work, funding documents, Contract Data Requirement Lists, and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements.
- Evaluating program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
- Participating in and supporting various meetings, conferences, and review boards, providing analysis and input as needed.
- Collaborating with the Program Management Team and Contract Support Program Team to provide comprehensive acquisition support.
- Utilizing knowledge and experience with Acquisition Management Systems to effectively contribute from day one.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree is required, with allowable substitutions including an associate degree plus two years of relevant experience or four years of additional work experience in related duties.
- Experience: A minimum of three to ten years of experience in roles similar to those described in the responsibilities.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements.
