Position Overview:

Ualand's Community and Technical College (CTC) serves as a pivotal hub for the advancement and provision of vocational and technical education, community engagement, and lifelong learning initiatives. The Building Technologies Division is seeking qualified candidates for our adjunct instructor pool in the Construction Management and Architectural Engineering Technology disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

As an adjunct instructor, you will:

  • Deliver courses in the Construction Management and/or Architectural Engineering Technology programs.
  • Assess and address the diverse needs of students.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of curriculum.
  • Maintain current knowledge in relevant subject areas.
  • Engage effectively with students and colleagues from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is essential. Candidates should possess significant, recent, full-time industry experience and/or teaching experience in a related area. A Master's degree is preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of construction management principles and architectural engineering technology, along with the skills necessary for effective post-secondary instruction, are required. The ability to inspire students to engage in critical thinking and problem-solving is crucial.

Additional Information:

Successful candidates must provide official transcripts prior to employment, verifying the academic qualifications necessary for the role. Degrees must be accredited by one of the six regional accrediting bodies in the United States.

This position is at-will and may be subject to cancellation based on institutional needs.
