Job Summary

The University of Alaska Anchorage is seeking qualified applicants for our adjunct pool of instructors in Automotive and Diesel technology. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum for Automotive and Diesel technology courses
  • Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning
  • Provide guidance and support to students in the Automotive and Diesel technology program
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in Automotive and Diesel technology
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Automotive or Diesel technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Automotive or Diesel technology
  • Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary setting
  • Certification in Automotive or Diesel technology through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
Working Conditions

This is an at-will, union-represented adjunct position. The successful candidate will be required to complete a background check and provide official transcripts.
