Job Summary

M & R TRUCKING, INC. is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely completion of projects, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in pre-trip vehicle preparations, ensuring all necessary equipment is loaded and ready for departure.
  • Coordinate with dispatch to receive job assignments, maps, and special instructions.
  • Operate the dumping mechanism, picking up materials, and verifying loads.
  • Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before entering job sites and plan entry routes.
  • Complete logs, Job Safety Analysis, vehicle inspection reports, way bills, BBS cards, and fuel reports.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL (Class A Hazmat Endorsement preferred)
  • 3-year driving record free of careless driving/accidents
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
  • Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and follow safety policies
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and perform physical tasks
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, reach, bend, sit, talk, and listen. The employee is required to use hands to handle, operate, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
