Vacuum Truck Driver Operator

Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including vacuum trucks, Jet-Rodder, and Rolloff trucks, with a focus on manual transmission experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Label, mark, and manifest shipments in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Interact with customers regarding job status and client requirements to ensure satisfaction.
  • Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while operating company vehicles.
  • Complete vehicle inspection reports and maintain drivers' logs to comply with regulations.
  • Obeys all traffic laws and regulations when operating company vehicles.
  • Trained on the proper use of all PPE required to do the work safely.
  • Immediately report all accidents, near misses, and injuries involving employees or others while operating company vehicles/equipment.
  • Recommend changes and improvements to safety and services based on job experience and observations.
  • Answer calls at night and weekends as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license, CDL Class A or B, and other requirements of company's driving policy when driving company vehicle.
  • Experience operating a vacuum truck.
  • Working knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
