Job Title: EHS Manager

Canadian Solar Inc. is a leading manufacturer of solar energy solutions, and we are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The EHS Manager will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, while also maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Develop and maintain training programs for employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Manage and maintain all necessary permits and certifications for environmental and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • University degree or above in a relevant field, such as safety engineering or environmental studies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS-related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
