Position Overview

  • Shift typically concludes at 3:00 PM (specific hours may vary)
  • Work schedule includes Monday through Friday with potential Saturday shifts
  • Daily Overtime Opportunities
Core Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all designated machinery, including servicing, repairing, or replacing components such as gearboxes, bearings, chains, and belts.
  • Maintain the mechanical and physical integrity of production machinery.
  • Minimize production downtime caused by mechanical issues.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Support fellow mechanics in machine repairs and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Assist production teams to ensure efficient setup processes.
  • Utilize maintenance shop tools (e.g., drill press, lathe, pneumatic tools) safely and effectively to complete tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Effective communication skills with team members.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to tasks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking and standing.
  • Repetitive hand and wrist motions.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Bending, twisting, and stooping as necessary.
