Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting products, components, and assemblies to ensure they meet customer and military requirements. You will work closely with our production team to identify and resolve quality issues, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect products, components, and assemblies to ensure they meet customer and military requirements
  • Identify and resolve quality issues in collaboration with the production team
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with our quality standards
  • Verify certificates of compliance meet the requirements of the drawing and the purchase order
  • Interpret blueprints and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)
  • Perform product audits and participate in customer site visits
  • Participate in customer or other third-party audits of Ward Leonard
Requirements
  • High School/Trade School diploma with 0-2 years of QC experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of GDT to mechanical layout inspection
  • ISO experience and familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) a plus
Working Conditions

This role requires standing and walking in a manufacturing facility, use of PPE, and efficient use of a computer. Ability to lift heavy objects and use a crane is also required.
