Job Overview

Position: Certified Clinical Assistant
Location: New York, NY
Shift: Daytime
Compensation: $23 - $25 per hour
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare examination and treatment areas, ensuring all necessary supplies and instruments are ready.
  • Assist patients in getting ready for medical consultations and examinations as instructed.
  • Measure and document patients' vital signs accurately in their medical records.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the operation and maintenance of specialized medical equipment.
  • Conduct EKGs, pulmonary function tests, audiometry, and Titmus tests following a completed performance evaluation checklist.
  • Perform urine drug screenings, breath alcohol tests, phlebotomy, and other laboratory tests as required after passing a performance evaluation checklist.
  • Maintain patient records by completing documentation as directed and organizing files and reports.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma
Required Certifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA
