Position Summary: This role is pivotal in promoting and securing the Club's venues for various events, including banquets, meetings, and other rentals, as well as social and corporate gatherings. The Catering Coordinator is responsible for drafting service contracts and collaborating with different departments to ensure seamless execution of events, striving to create unforgettable experiences with a high level of energy and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years in a similar role
- Availability to work scheduled hours, including holidays and weekends as needed
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, and crawling
- Capacity to remain on feet for extended periods
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring food presentation meets quality standards
- Overseeing event setup and cleanup processes
- Reviewing event details with the Banquet Operations Director
- Supervising event execution when necessary
- Addressing member and guest concerns
- Maintaining lists of past and potential clients
- Assisting guests with special requests such as decorations and audio/visual needs
- Confirming contracts and ensuring accurate record-keeping for all events
- Providing impeccable service and demonstrating social awareness
- Evaluating guest satisfaction and responsiveness
- Continuously seeking to enhance service-related knowledge and skills
- Maintaining awareness of the needs of members, management, and peers
- Taking responsibility for departmental operations by:
- Keeping banquet and storage areas organized and clean
- Managing inventory, scheduling catering events, and documenting orders
- Prioritizing and communicating effectively with the Food and Beverage Director and Banquet Staff regarding ongoing projects
- Performance will be assessed based on:
- Responsiveness to member needs
- Professional conduct and language
- Maintaining hygiene and a professional appearance
