We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician - Hematology/Oncology to join our team at Ascension St. John Hospital. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Hematology/Oncology department.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with various medical conditions, utilizing your expertise in Hematology and Oncology.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with case management to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, to advance the field of Hematology/Oncology.
  • Provide documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal denials in a timely manner.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations for specialty cases, including on-call schedules.

Requirements
  • Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine.
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Completion of an accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
  • BC Internal Medicine and BE/BC Hematology/Oncology.
