About the Role

As a Home Sales Inspector with Orkin, you will be responsible for understanding our comprehensive termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers. You will perform 360 inspections, solving problems and building trusted relationships to ensure homes and families are protected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect new business and assigned leads, utilizing our robust advertising budget to provide you with a steady stream of opportunities.
  • Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin's products and services.
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of customers' homes, identifying issues and making recommendations for pest protection.
  • Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using our company-provided iPad.

Qualifications

No experience required - we'll train you To be successful, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • The ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • The ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification (company-paid).
  • The ability to work independently and interact with customers.
Work Environment

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform job duties with or without accommodations:

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator.
  • Work in different types of weather conditions.
